Description
A grooved roller belt conveyor is a belt conveyor with a belt that has a groove-shaped cross-section, which makes it possible to transport bulk cargo more efficiently. Grooved belt conveyors can be either inclined or horizontal. The main difference in the design of grooved belt conveyors is the presence of roller supports, consisting of one horizontal roller and two side rollers installed at an angle of 30 degrees to the horizontal roller.
Mobile grooved belt conveyors are actively used for loading automobile and railway transport with grain and other bulk materials. Given the sufficient length of the boom reach and the ability to adjust the angle of inclination, the conveyor can also be used for intra-warehouse movement of grain and bulk materials.
The use of belt conveyors in grain storage and grain processing ensures minimal mechanical damage to grain crops during loading and unloading operations.
The frame of the grooved belt conveyor of our production is assembled from standard interchangeable sections (each 2 m long). The working branch of the belt rests on grooved three-roller supports, the idle branch - on straight rollers. The material is loaded onto the belt through a loading box located at the bottom of the conveyor; unloading is carried out from the tension station drum located at the top of the conveyor. The conveyor is equipped with a gear motor, the main parameters of which are determined depending on the purpose of the conveyor.
The maximum unloading height of the conveyor, with a conveyor boom length of 12 m and a conveyor inclination angle of 18 degrees, is 4 m.
As standard, the conveyor is equipped with a smooth belt. Depending on the type of material being transported (lumpy materials and piece goods), a chevron belt can be installed on the conveyor.
At the Customer's request, the grooved belt conveyor can be manufactured in both mobile and stationary versions with the ability to adjust the boom angle.
