It is intended for pumping of paper and wood-fiber stocks by concentration to 8%, a hydrogen indicator rn from 2 to 13, with a temperature up to 100 °C in technological processes of pulp-and-paper productions at pulp-and-paper and cardboard combines. The pump BM56/3I,5 can be used for pumping of liquid forages on livestock farms.
The flowing part of pumps BM is manufactured of the stainless steel resistant in acidic and alkaline environments. The withdrawal of the pump, the soaking-up branch pipe and a forward cover cast in common, form a pump housing in which lower part paws for its fastening on a frame are located. The wide soaking-up branch pipe provides optimum values of speeds of a current of the pumped-over environment on an entrance to the pump.
The driving wheel - cast five-scapular (in the pump BM 56/31,5 - two-scapular) closed, with otboyny shovels on a back disk. There is a modification of the pump and with half-open wheels, i.e. without forward disk. At this efficiency of the pump decreases by 40%. The drive of the pump BM is carried out from the electric motor via the vtulochno-manual coupling with prostavky. Dismantle of the pump of day of replacement of a wheel is carried out without detachment of the soaking-up and pressure head pipelines from a pump housing and the electric motor from a frame (according to requirements of the international standard - the ISO system). An exception is the pump BM56/31,5 in which the drive of the electric motor is carried out through klinoremenny transfer.
Massny pumps BM of the last modification, in comparison with the pumps which were earlier issued in accordance with GOST 11377-73 have more perfect design of working bodies, the efficiency increased for 4-5%, and also high unification of knots and details.
The possibility of interchangeability on group massny pumps, from the point of view of replacement of these pumps, should consider two types of pumps: soil and fecal. If the hydrogen indicator rn slightly deviates value 7, then the preference should be given fecal as to cheaper pumps. If the pumped-over environment possesses substantially acid or alkaline properties, then it is more expedient to use soil (peskovy, slurry) pumps.
